I told him that a person cannot be both the founder as well as the last Prophet of a religion at the same time. On one hand he says that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the founder of the religion of Islam and on the other hand he says that he cannot agree with the idea of him being the last Prophet. If you heard carefully he was speaking contradictory statements. He said, you see Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the last Prophet, why should he be the last prophet, why can’t any more prophets come into this world.Īlhamdulillah (praise and thanks be to Allah), without realizing he had trapped himself, and made my job easier. So he said that yes, yes, there is one more issue which I don’t agree with. So we better follow Hinduism and the Hindu scriptures.īefore I clarified this particular issue, I asked him if there was any other issue which he thought is wrong in Islam. So we see that The Holy Quran clearly mentions that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last Prophet.īefore I proceed further let me narrate to you a personal experience which occurred when I was having a discussion with a non muslim brother, and the brother was a Hindu, you see I was trying to clarify some misconceptions which he had about Islam.ĭuring the discussion he said that you know Hinduism is a very old religion, so old that we have lost track of its history, as to when it came into existence, who was the prophet to whom it was revealed and so forth, whereas Islam is a new religion which came into existence about 1400 years ago, and that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the founder of the religion of Islam.
#Atharva veda chapter 21 verse 6 full
Of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things. Muhammad (pbuh) is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Apostle Ma kana Muhammadun aba ahadim mir rijalikum walakir rasulullahi wa khatamannabiyyin wa kanallahu bi kulli shayin alima. The Holy Quran says in Surah Ahzab C-33 V-40: The question naturally arises as to who is this man, who is this last prophet. Today’s topic is of great importance to all of us, because the knowledge of the last Prophet or the ignorance thereof, is fundamental to our understanding of the purpose of our existence of our life itself of our creation and how we fit in, in this world of our roles, duties, and responsibilities and of the path we might choose to follow. The topic for today’s talk is The Last Prophet. May peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah (subhanahuwataala) be on all of you.
